Food Pantry Chili Dinner Great Time |

It was an evening filled with fellowship and giving. While the weather outside was cold and breezy, the chili was warm and inviting.
We were able to raise $255.00 for the Food Pantry along with over 5 boxes of food. Not only was our membership represented at the dinner but a few area churches was also represented at the dinner. It was wonderful to see support from other churches for this event. I could not say it any better than Gail from The Bridge Community Church "although we worship in different houses, we worship the one and only LORD together" . Not only was the fellowship wonderful, the music that Jon and Brooke Taulbee provided was spirit filled and a blessing. The harmony in the singing mixed with great guitar playing had everyone in the room singing and praising God during and after the dinner. It was a GREAT BLESSING to all that attended. We would like to extend a open invite to Jon and Brooke to come out and sing anytime they can. If you were unable to attend the chili dinner and would like to give to the food pantry, you can give to the pantry by taking food items to their location behind the Portage Adult Learning Center Fridays from 10-1 P.M. |
